HISTORICAL FACT N° 3

You are currently standing in the extension of the dungeon. The tower, which was originally 12 m high, has been increased to 4 times its hight during the 13th century. The square buttresses were replaced by flanking tower, witch are a more modern defensive system. You can also see another defensive system : two arrow slits. This floor also has latrines, the ancestor of our modern toilets. They have been renovated as you can see below.
