This room is dedicated to the heritage of Chauvigny. The showcases that surround you illustrate 4 periods of settlement from the Neolithic to the 19 ^th century. If you look up, you will see more than twenty coats of arms, in particular those of the bishops of Poitiers who held the fiefdom of Chauvigny.
