THE TERRACE
Welcome to the terrace, the outlook gives you a view of both the medieval city and the Vienne valley. You can also be exposed to the wind: the Bise wind (North-East) bringing the cold, the galerne wind (North-West) bringing the rain or, in summer, the Brise (South-East).

Town hall of the former municipality of Saint-Martial. Just behind it is the former Parish Church, converted into a primary school in the 1950s.
Flins Tower (private)
The castel of Harcourt (12th century), its courtyard is freely accessible to the public. It host the digital museum Micro-Folie (free), which offers a tour of more than 2000 works from national and international museums (more info can be provided at the reception)
The Bishops' Castle or Baronial Castle (11th - 15th century), romanesque dungeon (12th century).

At the end of the 19th The railway network reached Chauvigny with the development of the Poitiers-Le Blanc section, resulting in the construction of a viaduct over the Vienne (with its 6 arches, it measures 30 m wide). This link helped the town's industrial production to flourish. Today, the track has been rehabilitated as a bicycle-railway (Vélo-Rail).
